what a great end to the week. once again, it wasn't a disappointment.
firstly, i'm really glad and proud to say that RI beat Northland 3 - 0 in the 2nd round of qualifications for hockey! it feels really satisfying as we all know Northland is a really gooood school. hahaha. their centre players (centre forward/midfield/defender) is really solid. they got players like silas, alfian and nabil. wah, power. the first half was really tiring though it was a 0 - 0 scoreline. after the halftime, a few words of encouragement from the coach and off we go to start the second half. it was damn hot i tell you. yea and then we scored 1 goal. later another goal. and on the last minute, the last goal. yea the best way to end a game is by scoring a goal through the keeper's legs. it felt awesomeee! so we won and now the group standings look like this: Jurong West - 6 pts Raffles Institution - 4 pts Teck Whye - 1 pt Northland - 0 pt (really surprising to see them at the bottom) left with one more match to play and if we draw with jurong west, we'll qualify to the semis which means i'll get a medal! oh btw, Victoria beat Saints 3 - 0! wth! thats freaky, which means Victoria can whack us anytime they want. I hope Sengkang and Saints make it through and not Victoria. hahahaa. well off to work, bye. |
